Custom-Built Q-Series:
They feature the Proform high-flow main body, they are avaialble as either down-leg or annular boosters, screw-in idle and high-speed air bleeds, accelerator pump discharge nozzles, and a blended venturi area.
These carburetors have CNC-machined billet metering blocks with 4-stage emulsion to provide more precise fuel metering, improve throttle response, and give a more uniform fuel performance curve.
Q-Series carbs have a CNC-machined billet throttle body base plate assembly to provide an exceptional blend of strength and perfection. The base plates feature slabbed throttle shafts, used in conjunction with low-profile button-head screws, to maximize airflow and performance.
Other benefits are an adjustable secondary pump cam bracket, except for the Pro Vac series, allowing fine tuning of the secondary system. On Pro Vac models, the vacuum secondary is adjustable and includes a billet cover. Standard fuel bowls include notched floats and jet extensions for drag race specific applications.

Professional series carbs have a CNC-machined super duty billet throttle body baseplate assembly to provide an exceptional blend of strength and perfection. The baseplate features reinforced positive throttle stops to eliminate throttle shaft over centering and reduce the load on the throttle shaft at wide-open-throttle. Their die-cast polished aluminum fuel bowls are made from a special marine-grade aluminum alloy for superior corrosion resistance. The increased length of their fuel bowl enables them to carry additional fuel capacity for high-horsepower race engines. Their internal baffles prevent an unstable float level, due to fuel slosh. Their new Fuel Chute is designed to significantly reduce aeration, and helps direct fuel to the bottom of the bowl. All fuel bowls feature notched floats with necessary jet extensions and clear sight glasses to easily set the float height.

Custom-Built Ethanol Based E-85 Carburetors:
In recent years a great deal of attention has been directed toward alternative fuels. Of the available altenatives, E-85 has risen to the forefront as a commercially viable motor fuel that can, with minor alterations, be distributed utilizing the exixting infrstructure.
QFT has developed a carburetor specifically calibrated foe E-85. Our Q-750-E85 carburetor has been dyno-tested to produce optimum power as well as being installed on a number of test vehicles to validate the calibration. Every application is different of course and some calibration changes may be necessary to maximize the performance potential, however, this calibration is an excellent baseline that is much closer than either a methonal or gasoline carburetor.
