Race Pumps has dramatically increased the performance of their Billet Piston Fuel Pump to 450 GPH and increased the service life with the addition of solid Teflon seals��to 240,000 miles. The Race Pump now has the highest flow and the longest service life of any block mount mechanical fuel pump.
The patented variable displacement design allows the same pump to be used on engines with 200 to 2,500 horsepower. The pump adjusts output to demand rather than bypassing excess fuel like older designs, for less power consumption and cooler fuel.
Dependability and simplicity go hand in hand. The Race Pumps Billet Piston Fuel Pump is simplicity at its best. With only one moving part, the Race Pump is virtually bulletproof. Race Pumps are activated directly by the stock pushrod or eccentric, eliminating the trouble prone lever and pin. The diaphragm and valves are also eliminated.
The Race Pump is available for small and big block Chevrolet, Ford and Mopar; in carbureted and EFI versions. Inlets are -8 or -10 AN, outlets are -8 AN. Construction is 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a hard anodized finish.
Teflon seals and a hard anodized finish allow the Race Pump to be used with ALL fuels and additives. These materials are compatible with gasoline, methanol or E85; with nitro methane, propylene oxide or acetone.
